A birthday present for myself. Aptly completed three months late.
The image was actually found doing a google image search, original link can be found...actually I don't know, I copy and pasted something since then LOOOL my bad.

I worked on this mix over the course of today (Sunday). At first I just wanted it to be really chill and groovy but half way through the day I sort of got hyper and jarring if a person can be in such a mood. You'll notice the first songs in this mix kind of have that feel, at least to me. I used 30 century man as an interlude between this mood and the chill groovin second half. Most of those tracks are from the original version of this mixtape. Lots of solid hip-hop grooves and just general feel good stuff.
There is a progression in this mix but nothing like what I typically do. I actually found it difficult to find the flow I wanted. With a few last minute additions it came together very well. Hope you guys like it. Again if you want the mix, just msg me :)

In my mix tapes I always prefer that there be some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. I use that term loosely as all I really mean by that is the progression. Whether it be fast to slow-slow to fast, hard to soft-soft to hard, happy to sad-sad to happy, etc etc I hope you can understand and hear the progression. I'm not really one for words, but I hope you enjoy. If you're really interested in this mix and you find it difficult to find these tracks online, I'd be more than happy to zip it up and send all tracks. This mix was created out of exhaustion, despair, & an edge that's been somewhat misplaced. It's shorter than my typical mix, but I enjoyed the way things worked too much to mess with it.
