Favourite album opener If anyone's seen that mix about the tunes that shaped my taste in music, you will get this, if not: let's re-cap. This was the first album I ever bought on vinyl and before buying this album, I'd never heard Orchid. What's more, I had to wait ages (or atleast what seemed like ages) before I could even listen to it since I didn't have a record player. When I did finnaly get to listen to it though, I was greeted with this. The anticipation on my part was insane by this point and the opening sample did nothing but increace it untill I couldn't cope any more and then BAM, it all errupted. Nothing sets the mood and opens up an album like this track for me, it does everything an opener should do: Increase tension, then relieve it while setting the tone for what will follow. SHOW MORE

It is also another cracking opener but also is great for this mix as it will provide a nice comedown for you kids who don't love the scream-a-licious sounds of Orchid.
