description:
i recently took on the opening shifts my work, a clanky old restaurant in downtown portland. as much as i adore sleeping in, i've come to love getting up with the sun, driving in before traffic gets heavy, and spending some time just hanging around with the chef and opening dishwasher before the craziness begins. we recently acquired a cd-player, so i made this mix to wake us up this weekend. none of us are really morning people so i tried to incorporate some songs to wake us up, songs we all knew, and a few strange ones to keep us on our toes. it worked out quite nicely, i must say...
