description:
This was suggested by Rachael. I am not the biggest fan of Australian music, mostly through a mix of being not a snob and ignorant. Come on, do Thirsty Merc need to exist? Does anyone -really- like them. But thats beside the point... i found that this mix became a bizarre trip through my music taste.

tracklist

1 Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds : Into My Arms
This is both a brilliantly spiritual song for any atheist and brings back memories of childhood road trips. Note that my parents only had the single and only brought one CD on the trip...

I have so many things to say to right now I'm going list them in point form, because that's how my brain works.

1. The title of the mix made me laugh REALLY HARD.
2. I don't like australian music that much either. I would find it pretty hard to do an all aussie mix. You did well.
3. You should start listening to FBi man!!!!! Triple J are fucked in comparison. It's a sydney radio station though. I can't remember if you're fom sydney or not. Anyway, 94.5 if you can get it. You'll love it! Half the music they play is australian and half of that is from sydney.
4. Give it to her!

Nice mix and concept. Go Aussie! But personally im not overly fond of current popular music in Australia, with exception to the hip hop scene.
Also, It would have been nice to see The Church, Silverchair or spiderbait in there. Other then that pluses for Nick Cave, powderfinger and crowded house.
