liner notes
I'm from the Rogue Valley, in the Southern half of Oregon. Most of my hours at school are spent with headphones on and my head on my desk (only partly due to lack of sleep).
During classes that don't allow headphones and/or sleeping, I stare at one spot for a while, then close my eyes and try to see what I was looking at. I perfected this activity during my first two years of Honors English with a teacher whom, I believe, shouldn't be teaching Honors English.
When I'm not at school or working my terribly dull (but easy, so far) job at Barnes & Noble, I like to play Tetris, play guitar, listen to David Bowie, and, once in a blue moon, dust off notepad and Photoshop and pull a few allnighters creating websites (making websites isn't is fun during the day). I also just started reading Ultimate Spider-man comics, so that may soon be on my list of addictions.
Other things that I like are the color blue, Peanuts, Natalie Portman, The Daily & Colbert Report, being a Nintendo fanboy and restaurants that are open 24 hours a day.

Just a mix. I made it in April 2008, sometime before my birthday, and listened to it in my room at the end of the night.

Recently I had a close call with the 5-0. I hid in a dark room with two friends of mine and a girl I don't know, and we were scared. Listening to the ensuing conversation of citations, MIPs and illegal substances right outside the door, I turned to my iPod for comfort and tried to relax. I figure if I'm ever in the situation again, the least I could have is some good music to listen to.

My dad and I planned and took a trip to a nice spot on the Applegate River not too long ago, and I decided that we needed some good music on the way up. The point of this mix was for me to enjoy the songs that he grew up listening to, and for me to introduce him to some of the music me and friends listen to.

Okay, so I submitted this WAY late and now it's going to end up near the bottom of the list. But it was still fun to make. I guess there isn't really much need to describe the mix, since there isn't really a theme other than staying inside the guidelines for each track.
Also, the cover was found in an image search for a misspelling of "potpourri."

A mix for the first Mix Contest: Song Links, where the transitions come from the song titles... not the songs.
