A mix for the first Mix Contest: Song Links, where the transitions come from the song titles... not the songs.

tracklist

1 AC/DC : You Shook Me All Night Long
It's an easy song to follow ('long' is an easy name to find in song titles), and coincidentally, it's a good starter song. Catchy riffs and fast lyrics wake me up any day.

2 The Beatles : Long, Long, Long
Does it count if the song title is just one word? Is that like trying to rhyme a word with itself?

I think this is a good song, but mostly I like it because it transitions two other amazing songs (Helter Skelter, Revolution 1).

3 Creedence Clearwater Revival : Long as I Can See the Light
This good-natured and sincere, but almost depressing song, along with "Who'll Stop the Rain" made me love CCR's music.

4 Flogging Molly : The Light of a Fading Star
I loved this song before WaMoH (Within a Mile of Home, for those non-acronym-savvy) even came out. This song is epic.
When I saw FM, this song was absolutely amazing live, rivaled only by Drunken Lullabies.
Also, I heard this has a 6/8 time signature or something, which makes it special.(?)

5 David Bowie : Starman
Are we allowed to use half of a compound word as an actual word?

Starman was one of those songs that when I first heard, I could have sworn that I had heard it before, as if it were in a dream or something. Then I realized that the chorus is the same as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"s, so I actually HAD heard it before.

I love this song. It was one of the first songs I learned to play on guitar, and with my sub-par voice, one of the few that I can actually sing. (Almost)

6 Nirvana : Man Who Sold the World
While I don't like this version as much, I'm using it only so I don't have as many tracks by the same artist (Bowie) on here, which happened anyways, since that's all I ever listen to.

7 Weezer : The World Has Turned and Left Me Here
I didn't know how much I was missing out on until my friend Craig told me to get this CD. I love the way Coumo's voice sounds real on (early) Weezer albums, it doesn't sound studio-produced.

Uh-oh, I did another David Bowie song. I don't know why, but I love the contemporary Bowie, which is even more present on Reality.

10 David Bowie : Day In Day Out
THREE songs by the same artist?! Man, I fail hardcore. It's hard not to do that when you have over 400 tracks by one artist on your computer.

I don't really care for this song, or any other songs from this album, but it's name gets the job done.
