liner notes
Today a young man on acid realized that all of matter is merely energy condensed into a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death and life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather.

I made this mixtape when me and my girlfriend went to Hawaii last year and played it all the time so she would make out with me a bunch. It worked. Or maybe it was just because we were in Hawaii. Nah, it was probably the mixtape.
The choices start to get a little random near the end when I ran out of ideas and just went with songs that fit the mood. If anybody has any suggestions for this mix, I'd love to hear them!

These are the rest of the songs that remind me of my era of high school (1995-2000). I think a lot of them were actually on a mixtape I made off the radio back then.

We all know Robots are better than Monsters. Anybody making Monster mixtapes is high or lying. We also know that robots love to dance, every robot I've ever met has liked techno and dance music above all else. Most robots are elite assholes that would shit all over my taste in music, but luckily we don't let them on the internet.

These are the songs that remind me of high school (1995-2000). It's cool and nostalgic for me to listen to, so if you don't like it, fuck off... I didn't make it for you. Bonus points for exactly 80 minutes?

These are all songs I've heard live, in the order I saw them. This mix is more about the stories than the music, but all of the tracks have meaning for me because they remind me of the shows. Who I was with, why I was there, where I got drunk afterward, etc.

This has been my cheer me down break-up mix for years. The songs tend to be slow and heavy with quiet raspy vocals and emotional lyrics. It has done a good job in the past of making me feel better and worse at the same time. This is pretty much as emotional as my music gets.

I need to have music at work, but some songs can be distracting, especially when I want to sing along. So I give you: the vocal-free mix!

I don't really expect any debate about this mix and I'll be surprised if it doesn't get the highest ratings possible! The best rock songs of my generation, ranging from punk to pop to nu metal! Enjoy!
