After burning this mix and listening to it on several forays out in my automobile, I have to say that I think it truly picks up with Mr. Q-Tip and A Tribe Called Quest. I could easily ditch the first three songs and still be happy. But I've always had a weakness for his voice.

Great mix. I didn't realize how much people dig Themselves. Good to see. I didn't expect Busdriver on here. I think he is awesome, but highly underrated and always good to see his name. Not my favorite Sage track, but he's still always a good choice, I don't care what anyone says. I can listen to his albums straight through. And it was exciting to see The Socialists on here. Mes is one of my greatest friends (the rapper), so it's cool to see his name amongst some great hip hop artists. He just dropped "Song About You", check that out I think it's some of his best work.
So, just perfect really. And yeah like John said, an El-P song would have been nice. Maybe Homecoming with Slug? Who knows. All I know is that Trent Reznor is going to be on El's next album and that's just nuts.
